Kony Renews Commitment to Open Standards and Web Technologies with Version 5.0 of KonyOne Platform

Commitment to Open Standards for Entire Software Development Lifecycle
Kony’s commitment to open standards extends across the entire software lifecycle, from development, to deployment and management:
· Deploy: IT managers utilize Kony’s J2EE-based middleware services at runtime, which can be deployed in a variety of application servers including WebSphere, WebLogic, JBOSS,Tomcat and more. Integration with backend systems also utilizes open standards including web services, XML, SOAP/REST, JDBC database services, and native connectors for Oracle Siebel and Peoplesoft, Microsoft SharePoint, and other enterprise backend systems.
· Manage: Kony’s Mobile App Manager product enables IT administrators to manage any app from any source, whether developed in the Kony environment or in any custom or third-party development environment. Mobile apps can be wrapped and protected, and an enterprise container on the device abstracts enterprise apps from the device OS, with common features such as shared storage and single sign-on for enterprise apps. Security is provided using industry-standard 128 bit SSL/TLS protocols between the device and the KonyOne Server for all data communication.
