Developer Certification

This five-day course is designed to deepen your skills as a Kony developer. This course goes beyond the basic application building techniques and explores features that help make your applications robust and world class. This course will cover topics such as security, extending the application with Kony’s Foreign Function Interface (FFI), extending the application with server-side business logic and packaging the application for production use and store submission. This course also continues to engage the attendee in hands on exercises mentored by seasoned developers.

This course is offered in a classroom format in Hyderabad. In the US, this is a self-study format and the students will be given access to the self-paced advanced course materials.

It features both lecture as well as numerous hands on exercises including an end of class project that brings together many of the key concepts learned during the training class. For developers striving for their certification, successful completion and submission of this class project (in addition to completing the pre-requisite courses) serves as the baseline requirements to become a certified Kony Developer.

Admin Certification

This three-day instructor-led course for system administrators provides participants with the knowledge and skills required for understanding hosting infrastructure, middleware architecture and installation, and configuring web server - Weblogic. This course also covers device database architecture, disaster recovery, known issues, and troubleshooting. In addition, it also covers the essentials of the Kony middleware monitoring process.

Business Analyst Certification

Blueprinting is the process of gathering/understanding customer requirements and generating the project plans and specifications necessary to build and deploy a solution.  This Blueprinting course is designed for Business Analysts and Project Managers to help identify those aspects of a project that are unique to mobile and unique to the KonyOne Platform.  This course prepares the participants to accurately scope a Kony mobility project, understand what is unique in a Kony project, identify assumptions unique to mobile, work towards using best practices and ultimately create complete and accurate project specifications.

The course will cover Kony's vertical applications, 100% custom applications and everything in-between.

Testing Certification

This three day instructor-led course for testers/QA provides participants with the knowledge and skills that are required to test mobile applications developed using the KonyOne Platform to run across multiple channels.

Before deep diving into mobile testing, this course provides the participants with an overview of the KonyOne platform, various Kony widgets, build generation and deployment for various mobile platforms.

This course equips the participant to create an effective test strategy and provides the knowledge and skills to execute it. The course covers various aspects of testing including: Kony testing methodology, identifying the testing scope, test design, creating and executing the test cases, defect management and usage of required tools like JMeter, Sikuli and DeviceAnywhere.

The KonyOne platform is a complete, end-to-end mobile design, development, testing, production and deployment management platform. Using a single codebase, it provides coverage for the broadest number of channels, from feature phones to smartphones, tablets to kiosks, SMS to social networks, and mobile browser from WML through to fully device-optimized HTML5.

This 3 hour session, delivered virtually, has two parts.

Part 1 addresses the broad question of "What is the Kony Offering", including:
