iOS7 is here, promising loads of useful new features, a dramatically overhauled interface, a new Control Center, transparent animations, new “voices” for Siri, and much more. Right now, developers are doing deep dives into beta versions of the OS, to take advantage of the new UI and features. And as with any major OS upgrade, they’re scrambling to figure out how iOS7 will interoperate with their apps and devices, including those that are halfway through development. Developers know it’s critical to be ready for iOS7 on Day 1, which is expected in September 2013. Users will want to access new features and functionality immediately. Delays can equal disappointment and lost revenues.
