Maintenance window: September 22, 2014 05:00 UTC to September 22, 2014 09:00 UTCOn Thursday (October 2nd), we experienced several issues that may have affected your ability to use our Cloud services, including the provisioning of Clouds & applications. Our investigation pointed to our provider, Amazon Web Services (AWS), experiencing network connectivity issues in the following services. Impacted Cloud services:
DNS resolution (Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud in N. Virginia)</strong> - public IP addresses may have been returned instead of private IP addresses during internal DNS lookups resulting in intermittent connectivity.**”
Cache node connectivity (Amazon Elasticache in N. Virginia)</strong> - intermittent connectivity issues were detected.**”
Database connectivity (Amazon Relational Database Service in N. Virginia)</strong> - some database connectivity issues were experienced.**”
Impact Level : minor
All of the above issues have now been investigated, resolved, and both AWS & our systems are operating normally.
