Storage Objects as a Service
A Mobile Application user wants to upload any local information (available in device) to a storage (probably cloud). The information can be in the form of the tables (eg customer name, address, contact details etc). The user will use MobileFabric’s Table as a service and upload the new information based on the predefined schema on MobileFabric. The same information can be successfully deleted, updated and retrieved as well.
All the objects created will be hence forth called as “Storage Objects”.
Javascript Connector
User will be able to add Plain JavaScript services to their applications.
User will be able to add a single or set of JavaScript files to the server, including dependent libraries, create operation for JS service.
Data Adapter SDK for Enterprise Connectors
New MobileFabric Enterprise connectors - RDBMS, Mongo and many more with dynamic and extensible UI.
SAP JCO and Scraper Support
SAP JCO legacy support in 7.1 MF console.
Scraper App developed using older studio can be migrated to 7.1.
Pre-requisite: App has to be upgraded to 6.5.2 studio before migrating to 7.1 MF console.
Supporting Internationalization on Launchpad
Will support internationalization for the Enterprise Appstore that gets installed on the user’s device and allow them to use their enterprise apps in the language of their choice.
After the MobileFabric upgrade, a Launchpad upgrade is required for EMM users. “Language pack is being downloaded” will be shown the next time that Launchpad is launched.
Enhanced Identity
User Profiles and Security Token accessible in Storage Services, Object Services, Integration, and Orchestration helping with Mobile Application security requirements.
Other enhancements and fixes
Arxan protected Launchpad binary for EMM.
Migration of standalone KMS to MF.
Support for Android GCM new push message features.
Support for x-forwarded-for HTTP header in Sync.
Added to Sync administrative console the ability to:
dynamically insert properties into DB.
export of trace logs.
Option provided for Linux installer to opt whether to restart server after installation has been completed.
Support for ‘Tablespace’ name for Oracle DB.
Impact Level : medium
- No significant downtime is expected. The scheduled maintenance is designed for minimal disruption of service availability; however, it is possible for your service(s) to be unavailable for a short period of time during the maintenance window.
