Identity Services Hotfix - Virginia

Maintenance window: April 24, 2020 00:01 to 04:00 EDT

This hotfix is being deployed to the Virginia region to address an on-going production issue. Deployments to the remaining regions will be patched on our normal maintenance schedule. The maintenance window start and end times for this deployment are US EDT and affects Identity services hosted in Virginia. If you are unsure where your Identity services are hosted, you can view the Accounts page in the Cloud Management Console and the region will be displayed.

Impacted Cloud services:

Identity
- The Identity 9.0.0.2 release contained a change to relax the number of LDAP groups that can be returned for a user. Some users’ group lists are returning hundreds of groups. To control this, a new per-tenant property will be available to limit the total number of groups returned in a query for those customers that need behavior similar to previous Identity releases.

Impact Level : minor

No downtime is expected for the impacted Cloud services while this maintenance is being performed. The scheduled maintenance is designed to mitigate disruptions to service availability and performance for the impacted Cloud services. However, it is possible for the impacted Cloud services to be unavailable and/or performance degraded for a short period of time during the maintenance window. Note that no changes are being applied for other Cloud services outside of the list of impacted services above and no service availability or performance disruption is expected for other Cloud services.
