For the past eight years, the third Thursday of May has marked Global Accessibility Awareness Day. Started by Joe Devon, GAAD is targeted towards “the design, development, usability, and related communities who build, shape, fund and influence technology and its use.”

In honor of Global Accessibility Day today, I thought there would be no better time to talk about our Kony platform enablement for accessibility. For many of you who follow accessibility closely, many of you already understand that Accessibility 508 Compliance, and the supporting standards such as the WCGA 2.x standard, lay out clear features and capabilities that must be adhered to.

Today, Thursday, May 18, 2017, marks the 6^th annual Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD). The purpose of GAAD is to get people who work with digital technologies—web, mobile, software, etc.—to think and learn about the importance of accessible technologies and different disabilities.
