This is a big week for Kony. On October 8, at the Gartner Symposium ITxpo in Orlando, FL, we announced the launch of our new Kony Multi-Channel Experience Cloud. An end-to-end suite of products and cloud-based services that empowers organizations to quickly deliver multi-channel app experiences, the Kony Multi-Channel Experience Cloud will change the way that enterprises address mobility.

The Kony Development Cloud allows you to build mobile apps that work on a variety of operating systems and device types. We call these “channels,” and Kony is the best platform for building enterprise-grade, multi-channel apps. Testing your app across all your channels, however, can be a challenge. This post is meant to give you everything you need to know to test your app on an iOS emulator and on an iOS device.

How do mobile apps affect the “zero moments of truth” for your customers? These are the moments where your customers are so engaged in an experience that they feel they must have your product or service. They are ready to decide. It’s now up to you to deliver results, delight them, and reinforce the relationship.

I recently watched a TED talk given by Simon Sinek, leadership expert and author, who released a book called “Start with Why” a couple of years back. He presents that organisations who are extremely successful, such as Apple, begin by asking why they are doing something and the benefit this will bring to consumers before setting out on that journey. Basically, people don’t buy what you do but how you do it.

Kony recently hosted a webinar outlining the 8 essential steps to building a long-term mobile strategy. Which begs the question: Does it make sense to plan for a long-term strategy when the mobile landscape changes so frequently?

iOS7 is here, promising loads of useful new features, a dramatically overhauled interface, a new Control Center, transparent animations, new “voices” for Siri, and much more. Right now, developers are doing deep dives into beta versions of the OS, to take advantage of the new UI and features. And as with any major OS upgrade, they’re scrambling to figure out how iOS7 will interoperate with their apps and devices, including those that are halfway through development. Developers know it’s critical to be ready for iOS7 on Day 1, which is expected in September 2013. Users will want to access new features and functionality immediately. Delays can equal disappointment and lost revenues.
