Identity Services Hotfix

Management and Workspace Services Fixes

Maintenance window: February 12, 2018 00:01 to 04:00

    • Fix application not working after wrapping in EMM

    • Note that any app published in EMM where this issue was occurring will need to be re-wrapped after this maintenance window to apply this fix

  • Workspace services

    • Fix issue if default permissions is set to any value other than “fullaccess” to everyone and when member creates a service that same member is unable to create operations in the new service

Identity Services - Intermittent authentication failures in Virginia cluster 1

Incident window: February 9, 2018 20:44 UTC to February 10, 2018 01:10 UTC

Impact Level : high

[01:53 UTC] Resolved. Between Feb 9 20:44 UTC and Feb 10 01:10 UTC, one Identity services node in the Virginia fleet (in cluster 1) was yielding a high frequency of authentication failures. We have replaced the problematic node and have provided error logs to our development team for further review. Since 01:10 UTC, we have verified that the error rate has decreased. We are continuing to monitor.

Engagement Services Hotfix

    • Fix high heap memory utilization and garbage collection issues on very large number of message pushes

Engagement Services - Virginia cluster 1 database outage

[10:30 UTC] Engagment services for some customers in Virginia are unavailable.

[11:30 UTC] Resolved. We identified and addressed a database issue. Availability of the service has been restored.

Cloud Management Console Release

Maintenance window: February 5, 2018 05:00 to 09:00 UTC

  • Cloud Management Console

    • Introduce ability to configure default settings for access control for Fabric apps/services (located under Settings tab)

    • Introduce ability to view published apps published to a Cloud in Fabric console (located under Environments tab)

    • Enable access control for Developer portals (Support option has been added to ‘Manage User Access’ used to control who can log in to that Developer portal)

    • Stabilization and defect fixes

[2018-02-05 14:46 UTC] The Management services deployment has been postponed. All other listed services were updated. New deployment window for EMM is TBD, but will be shared here once scheduled.

[2018-02-08 12:26 UTC] The Management services new deployment window has been rescheduled for February 12. Details will be reshared in a new post on https://www.kony.com/status and we will also resend email notices to affected customers.

Reporting Services - server upgrades

Maintenance window: February 4, 2018 00:01 UTC to February 5, 2018 00:01 UTC

    • Upgrade reporting servers


Impact Level : high

Reporting services are expected to be unavailable for a significant portion of time during the maintenance window while we perform upgrades to our servers. Runtime environments are not expected to be affected. Any application activity while the maintenance is being performed will still be recorded while the reporting services are unavailable. This data will become available after the maintenance has been completed and after the backlog of queued data can be processed, which we anticipate will require a few hours.
