Workspace Hotfix - artifact type for idprovider incorrectly set

    • Fix artifact type for idprovider incorrectly set to ‘projref’ instead of ‘string’ while importing app, which causes the following user manifestations:

    • View associated apps for an identity provider does not include the imported app name

    • Unlink of identity provider fails

App publish failures

  • Application publishes are failing for some customers


Impact Level : high

[2017-06-13 16:27] We have detected application publish failures occurring for some customers. We are currently investigating the issue.

[2017-06-13 17:06] Resolved. We identified the issue, which was driven by limited capacity of a critical resource required for publishing applications. We have increased the capacity of this resource to meet the increase in demand we have observed. If you have encountered issues when trying to publish applications, you can try again. We will continue to monitor application publish attempts.

Cloud Management Console - Reports inaccessible

    • Users receive an error trying to access Cloud reports pages

Identity and Management Services Hotfixes

The maintenance window start and end times are local to the region in which your Clouds are hosted. If you are unsure where your Clouds are hosted, you can hover over a Cloud Name in the Manage Clouds page of the Cloud Management Console and the region will be displayed.

    • Verify that custom identity logout is calling backend logout API

  • Management services

    • Fix Android-specific wrapping failures. Customers who have raised support tickets need to rewrap and distribute their Android apps (our Support team will update your tickets as well).

Cloud Management Console - authentication failures

    • Users are unable to authenticate successfully to https://manage.kony.com

    • Users who have authenticated are experiencing degraded performance


Impact Level :

[2017-05-19 15:05 UTC] We have detected authentication failures for users trying to log in to https://manage.kony.com and are investigating.

[2017-05-19 15:45 UTC] Resolved. Users should be able to authenticate. During the incident window, we noticed an unusually large amount of traffic to our API servers and we have added additional scaling capacity. We are continuing to monitor and investigate further.

Identity Services Hotfix

[2017-05-18 16:00 UTC] Resolved. Users should now be able to authenticate. We are continuing to monitor and investigate further.

Service Publish Failures

Incident window: May 15, 2017 15:44 UTC to May 16, 2017 04:24 UTC

  • Service publishes are failing

  • Existing services that have already been published are not affected


Impact Level : high

[2017-05-15 15:44 UTC] We detected service publish failures.

[2017-05-15 23:15 UTC] We identified the issue and are working on a hotfix.

[2017-05-16 00:20 UTC] We have produced a hotfix that is undergoing testing. We anticipate being able to deploy the hotfix to production in roughly 1.5 hours.

[2017-05-16 04:24 UTC] Resolved. We have deployed the hotfix into production. Please retry any failed publish attempt. In rare cases, an unpublish and then re-publish may be required. If an unpublish is required, App key and secret can be saved on the ‘Customize and Publish’ page before unpublishing and then re-entered when re-publishing.
